Becoming parents is such a beautiful journey, and I love documenting this season in a way that feels natural, heartfelt, and filled with joy! Jody and Daniel are expecting a baby girl, and their maternity session was nothing short of magical. We started at The Inn at Mattei’s Tavern in Los Olivos, one of my favorite local spots for a staycation. After soaking up the cozy, sun-drenched ambiance, we took a short drive to Gaviota Beach, where we were met with the most stunning, bright pink sunset. The sky felt like it was celebrating right along with us, watching the waves crash as they held each other, dreaming about the next chapter of their lives, was such a beautiful moment to witness. To end the session, we returned to their room at the inn, where I captured more intimate, fun shots of the two of them. I can’t wait to photograph their sweet baby girl soon and capture their very first official family photos!
