It’s not very often I get to travel outside of California’s stunning landscapes for an engagement session, so when Raquel and Zack asked me to capture their love story in New York City, I was beyond excited! There’s something so magical about NYC, the history, the architecture, and the electric energy that makes every moment feel cinematic. We started their session at the New York Public Library, one of the most iconic and timeless spots in the city. The grand marble steps and intricate carvings made for the perfect backdrop as Raquel and Zack strolled hand in hand, soaking it all in. After capturing the elegance of the library, we hopped in a classic yellow cab—because is it really a New York session without one? Our final stop was Central Park just in time for golden hour! If you know me, you know I love soft, romantic light, and we had the most dreamy glow as they wandered along the park’s winding pathways.
